The WEBCON Organizing Committee invites proposals for innovative and creative ideas exploring themes such as sustainable development and artificial intelligence (AI) in remote sensing, spatial information sciences, and geospatial applications.

We welcome submissions from students, young researchers, and all “makers” registered for ACRS 2025. Ideas/Projects should leverage internet-connected devices, digital fabrication technologies, virtual/augmented reality, or other advanced tools to propose smart solutions that address global challenges and help shape the future of sustainability and AI in geosciences.

Contest Rules:

• Submissions may be made individually or in teams of up to three members.
• After an initial review of proposals, selected applicants will be invited to the final competition.
• Contestants are responsible for bringing their own laptop computers to present their work. A wireless internet connection will be provided by the organizers.

Important Dates:

• September 19, 2025:  Registration deadline via the ACRS website. Please register the name, affiliation, country, and email address of the team representative.
• October 20, 2025: Submission deadline for proposals and project materials via the ACRS website. Please include the name, affiliation, country, date of birth, and email address of each team member. Your proposal should also include:

1. Title of the web-based material

2. Design concept and objectives

3. Outline of the material, including a brief description of system requirements, development framework, structure, and core functions

4. URL where your project can be accessed for evaluation

(If online access is unavailable, you may provide a set of files viewable in standard web browsers.)

5. Any additional information helpful for evaluation

All presentation documents must be submitted in PDF format.

Prizes:

Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards will be presented, along with certificates of commendation.
